TIP: I have received excellent feedback from my kids with this one. They love the idea behind it, but in reality it is very simple and a great fine motor exercise with color coordination components. I used 40 Q-Tips and split them into 4 different piles to color the cotton ends 4 different colors; I chose orange, blue, red, and green. It looks as if a "monster" used them because they are not human colored and this idea tickles many kids. Then, I found some colored straws that matched my four colors and cut them to a length to where you can slide it onto the Q-Tip and it will sit in between the Q-Tip's cotton ends. The goal is to slide the colored straw pieces onto the matching colored Q-Tips. The amount can be graded as necessary.
