East Coast Therapies proudly uses Ocean Friends, an innovative AI-supported electronic medical record platform that offers much more than documentation. Through the Ocean Friends app, families can communicate directly with their child’s therapist, coordinate appointments, receive progress updates, view home-program recommendations, and access practical strategies that support carryover between sessions. Therapists may also share special moments from therapy and track your child’s progress, creating a convenient and transparent connection that goes beyond traditional texts and occasional phone calls.

When your child begins therapy with us, you will receive instructions for downloading the Ocean Friends app and joining their personalized therapy profile. We strongly encourage families who feel comfortable doing so to add a photograph of their child - we love seeing their smiling faces appear while documenting their progress! It even makes the less-exciting task of writing notes a little more enjoyable for us. 😊 We believe families are in for a special experience through Ocean Friends’ integration into our practice, and we are always happy to help if you encounter any difficulty getting started.
