Meet Tidal!
Say hello to Tidal, East Coast Therapies’ cheerful young loggerhead sea turtle and official company mascot! As South Carolina’s state reptile, the loggerhead is a perfect representative of our coastal home and the children and families we proudly serve throughout our community.

Small Steps Lead to Big Adventures
A young sea turtle’s journey begins with determination, discovery, and many small movements toward something much bigger. Child development is much the same. Every child grows at an individual pace, finds their own path, and builds new abilities one experience at a time.
Tidal reminds us that meaningful progress does not always happen in one giant leap. Sometimes it is a new grasp, one tolerated bite of a new food, a smoother transition, a first successful turn with a friend, or one more independent step in a daily routine. With encouragement, the right support, and plenty of opportunities to practice, those small victories can carry a child toward a world of possibilities.

Look for Tidal!
You will see Tidal throughout your family’s experience with East Coast Therapies. His friendly face appears on many of our forms, parent handouts, educational materials, home-program resources, and videos created especially for ECT children and families.
Tidal gives children a familiar, welcoming face to recognize and helps make therapy information feel approachable, encouraging, and fun. When you see Tidal, you will know that an East Coast Therapies resource—and another opportunity to learn, practice, and grow—is close by.

Tidal Helps Our Therapists Grow, Too
Tidal is not only a friend to the children we serve. He is also the coach and guide behind Tidal Academy, East Coast Therapies’ internal training and professional-development experience. Through Tidal Academy, our therapists receive structured onboarding, practical resources, continuing education, reflection opportunities, and meaningful support as they grow within our practice.
Because when our therapists continue learning, our children and families receive even better care.
