Excellent pediatric care begins with clinicians who feel prepared, supported, and encouraged to keep growing. Tidal Academy is East Coast Therapies’ internal training, onboarding, and professional-development experience for occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants.
Guided by Tidal, each new team member receives a thoughtful introduction to ECT’s clinical standards, documentation practices, family-centered communication, everyday practice systems, and foundational approaches to pediatric evaluation and treatment. Our goal is not simply to show therapists where to find forms or how to complete a checklist. We want them to understand how to provide care that is skilled, practical, collaborative, and responsive to the needs of each child and family.
Learning That Continues Beyond Onboarding
Tidal Academy grows with our therapists. Team members receive access to practical clinical resources, treatment and administrative guidance, reflective learning activities, current professional information, and opportunities for individualized feedback from supervising therapists.
Learning activities are designed to connect professional development with the work clinicians are actually performing. Therapists are encouraged to reflect on real experiences, strengthen their clinical reasoning, explore new approaches, and apply what they learn directly to the children and families they serve.
